This is me doing a standard riffle shuffle on an ordinary pack of playing cards. Recorded with sony hdr pj260v then edited with audacity.

The music played is my own that i've recorded so it is included in the creative commons license. This is meant to be a wide range of sounds that you can edit and pull out just what you need.

I played a bit with the filters and oscillators of a free vst synth. This sound is useful for cutting and applying different effects over it. I think that it can be used standalone as well.

This is a recording of children playing in the large playground at the luxembourg gardens in paris, france. The recording was made from the east side of the playground, next to an attraction that allows kids to hang from a sort of harness and slide down a rail. The metallic clink you hear periodically is the sound of the runners on this gadget banging into each other as kids jump off of them. Recorded with a zoom h4n at 96 khz / 24 bits in stereo with built-in mics.

Recreated sounds of a field recording done for loyola high school. There are only two sounds under an attribution license. For the first sound, i just made the duration shorter. I went out back to record the robin and also noticed a smaller pileated woodpecker right over on the wood pile. Listen hard and you'll hear it peck the wood. That's the first sound you hear along with the robin and my neighbors kids. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited on sony vegas with two track duplications. So i've made a skit 10 or so years ago. It was for a story i had designed called "axe troopers" 3 kids with an axe trained to be assassins. Literally do not have anytime now to study animation have to raise my daughter. But this lovely piece has been sitting on my hard drive. . . . I was curious what it would look like if it was animated in any way. . . So here it is! please message me if you ever get a chance to animate this piece at all. . . I'd love to know what you did to it :).
